back in Finland, back in the blogosphere

Hey everyone! I went to London to do my practical training last September as I mentioned in my last post here forever ago.. Well, I'm back in Finland now, and also decided to start blogging again!  

I was going to start with few picture heavy posts about my time in London but .. Well. Ended up deleting the first new post as suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable with sharing so much here. I've just  checked the statistics of my blog and I'm soo surprised that so many people are visiting my blog even though I've been so inactive! I don't want to let this blog be too personal, I want to focus on make up looks and clothes and stuff like that, and keep most of the personal stuff like pics with friends etc on FB and on my computer. .

Anyways, I had an amaaaazing time in London! Not going to post many pics here, but let me tell you about some highlights of my time there.

• I got closer with my friends, also made some new friends, and even met some internet friends for the first time in real life! Miss them already. ♥
• Went out at least once a week, sometimes twice or even three times. Had so much fun partying with my friends! I never really go out here in Finland..
• I was working for Minna Hepburn , and really enjoyed it. 
• The house I was living in, it was great, my room was like 3 times bigger than my room in Finland.. And all my flatmates were very nice too!

  

  

  
  

• Went to my first fashion show ever! Kristian Aadnevik. Was amazing, I love his designs.
• Saw Toyah performing..
• and Massive Ego and Dusty O..
• and Joe Black !
• Almost went to Boy George's gig too, already bought the ticket... but the gig got cancelled. :( (I've seen him 3 times before, so it wasn't the end of the world.)
• Also went to a club where Boy George was supposed to be DJing, but he got ill and didn't come there. Had a great time anyway!
• Amanda Lepore was also hosting at some party where I went to!
• My family came for a surprise visit! They just UNexpectedly turned up at my work place one day, I was so shocked.. Even my mum came, even though she's terrified of flying!
• Also two of my friends from Finland came to visit me, and few sent me letters! I love real letters!
• Spent the christmas with two of my friends. My first christmas away from my family.. Had a great time! But from now on I wanna spend every christmas at home.. Christmas is a family event for me. 

Going to post about couple other events I went to in London, and then I'm ready to start posting some make up looks and outfits again! And yes, I also have looots of catching up to do with all the blogs I'm following as I've been away for so long .. (Ughh and the photo uploader on blogger hates me.)

Heyy everyone ! I'm here again, letting you guys know that I'm still alive, even though I've been absent lately!

There's been a lot going on lately ... School, friends etc. I've been super busy, and tired .. And I also have to take a little (or actually quite long break from blogging now!)  I'm going to London on Friday, and staying there for 4 months!! I'm doing my practical training there, I'll work in Minna Hepburn's studio!

I don't have a laptop or anything while I'm in London, so I won't be able to blog from there ... (and, I suppose there's going to be soooo many things to blog about when I come back in January, so don't know if I can get anything done then either, hahh)




So, here's few random pics and info of some things that've happened lately.

My friend Dille moved to Tampere to study, and I've seen him few times! It's so funny, he used to live about 800 km from me, he was my furthest friend from Finland.. And now he's the closest! Doesn't he look amazing with my pink net top and black nipple tapes! ;)

I wanted to go ice cream shopping.. And my brother took me on a motorcycle ride! It was my second time on motorcycle, and so scary...

My brother's fiance and Tommi baked me a cake while I was on a motorcycle ride with my brother!! Hehh.. They didn' use any recipe, they just made it .. There was meant to be a frosting too, but they were too impatient to wait until it has cooled enough, so the frosting melted ... 

 

 

The cake was delicious (even though it might not look like so), especially with ice cream! My mum is also going to bake me a real birthday/farewell cake on Thurday!

There was some anime convention in Tampere where Tommi went. He played Squalo, and the leather jacket he's wearing - it's made by me! :D Doesn't he look stunning ♥

Yeah, I also had my 19th birthday on Monday. Nothing special happened, I didn't have a party or anything .. Went to a bar with my dad on Sunday though, it was nice! Many free drinks.. And this one also had a sparkler in it! Didn't realise to take a picture of it while it was burning though ..

I also got a new haircut! Now my both sides are short! This is the side that used to be long! Yeah, that happens when I start to think about growing long hair again.. It just gets shorter!

JVG and popsicles

My friend Tommi from Turku came to visit me in Nokia for a couple nights! I had a great time with him, he's such a nice and fun guy to be around!

At first he sewed my snake's mouth closed. I think it looks much better that way, but I've been to lazy or something to do it before. It's been like forever since Tommi's been sewing anything so... it was quite fun to watch.

As we're almost the same size, my clothes fit him quite well and he was trying some of them on...
It was soooo much fun.

Harry Potter. Harry Potter. Harry Potter. Ohhh, how many times I heard that....

Jare & VilleGalle gig @Tivoli! They're finnish hip hop band ... Mostly rapping about sports. We went to their gig, just for fun as neither of us really likes that kind of music. But it was great!

We also ate one packet of popsicles, visited a sex shop, sat in front of a church (unfortunately it was closed so we couldn't go in!), played some relationship game with my brother and his girlfriend (that was interesting as we're not a couple :D) and talked a loooot about sex ..

And stayed up till about 9.30, watching movies! Transamerica, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pinocchio, Titanic ..

Looking forward to Tommi's birthday/housewarming party next month! ^_^

VOODO / summer 2011 ♥

Voodo is one of my best friends, but she lives in Ylivieska which is about 400km from where I live, so we can't meet so often.. But, she came here couple weeks ago and we spent a week together and had a great time, as always! ♥

Our week involved

• Going to a bar with my dad
• and being teached about the facts of love by some old drunk men

• swimming in the middle of the night

• biking home wearing only shirts and towels in our heads

• sleeping in the balcony
• and being eaten by mosquitos

•  walking and boiling in the sun
• arguing with my brother

•  laughing
• and entertaining other people who happened to be there and hear us

• taking pictures and videos
• discussing about her mysterious underwear

•  playing with tape and the adjustable wrench that we found from the beach

•  taking more pictures

• admiring finnish men's style

• talking with some random drunk people at night

• having a brunch with one of them next day
• tasting crayfish tails for the first time

• taking more and more pictures..

• having more and more fun taking more pictures

•  went to Linnanmäki (amusement park)
• had fun running with those pink people
• took also couple rides (unfortunately there's no picture or video material of how fun it was, hah)

• watching some old horror movie
• and timon and pumba
• spending a whole day only watching donald duck

• and of course, last but not least, eating lots of junk food ... (hahah I wish we took a picture of all the food we ate...)

Voodo, I love you harikamuru, your :C -smile is the most beautiful ever! Can't wait to see you and eat with you, and maybe go to a plane that goes upside down again! ♥
