The Saturnettes @ Pyynikin Portti on 17th June
An unplugged gig. Mostly it was just Jann and Robin, the rest of the band only joined them for couple songs. Also Robin sang a whole song alone! That was the first time.
We were expecting to hear a David Bowie cover as they promised so earlier on FB, but the covers were only The Cure and T-Rex as usual :(

The Saturnettes @ Varjobaari on 26th March
(Yeah... A gig post, again! What a surprise ;) But this one doesn't contain so many gig pics!)
Before the gig, Nea and I were sitting ... somewhere where was warm .. listening to music, drinking, talking and taking pictures!
(Nea, I just noticed .. the way YOU combine prints, quite ardeish! Add some colours too;))
I looved Nea's lashes . ♥ Her make up was inspired by Illamasqua's new collection, Toxic Nature . You can see it in the shape of her eyebrows.. I've planned to do Toxic Nature inspired make up too, or not inspired but to just to try to copy some of the looks from their promo pics, lol. (I guess I should start doing things instead of just planning to do them!)
Well .. Today I'll meet Nea when she gets home from work and we'll play with make up.. I can promise you, it won't be pretty! I won't tell you what looks we're doing.. But blonde wig is necessary to both of our looks. ;)
At the gig I took mostly videos, as I hate red/green light.. Maybe I should start uploading Jann Wilde gig videos to youtube again?
But I think I want The Saturnettes to have a gig at Klubi. The lighting is so good there and I love taking pics there, I don't even have to think about the settings of my camera, the pics are always perfect.
This was the first time in years that we took pictures with Jann. Mostly he was just making some funny faces and I'm not going to post those pics here .. Some of you might have been lucky and fast enough to see one on facebook before I deleted it, hehh.

The Saturnettes @ Vastavirtaklubi on 3rd March
Last week I went to see The Saturnettes with my friends Nea and Mimma.
It was the first time I went to Vastavirtaklubi .. I've been upstairs once before but never downstairs, (only almost once when I tried to get in but was too young .. hahah.).
The Saturnettes is Jann Wilde's new band, or his side project or whatsoever, and this was their first gig. It was also the first time in almost 4 years that I even considered about not going to their gig .. (dunno why!) I'm glad I went there though, it was great!
Loved hearing so many new songs! They played only few songs I've heard before, and even they weren't something I've heard too many times yet, they're not even in older Jann Wilde albums. I was surprised to hear a very old song, Girl Named Sue ! Can't even remember if I've heard it live after one acoustic gig in 2007, which was actually one of my very first gigs.
Jann Wilde never disappoints, he's such an amazing songwriter.
Their music video for their first single 'Cadillac'. The video was released yesterday, and I love it, soo funny pics.

Jann Wilde @ Basso on 16th Oct
It didn't even feel like I was in Turku. It didn't look like Turku. The gig place, Basso, was so far from the centre where I've used to be.. :D
Anyway, this was my 40th Jann Wilde gig.. and the last one this year. Oh, these are going to be sooo long months for me without the gigs.. hahah what am I going to do??
(It was too dark there, I should have used a flash but I couldn't because my camera was running out of battery.. That's why the quality isn't the best possible)
