Galliano's Flower Garden inspired make up

I've seen few blog posts about Christian Dior Haute Couture Autumn / Winter 2010-2010 collection already, but I wanted to share this gorgeousness with my followers too. This is absolutely stunning, mind blowing collection. It's so over-the-top, feminine, flowery, garden themed collection with lots of tulle and vibrant colours.

John Galliano got his inspiration from flowers, as you can clearly see. I love how colourful this collection is, compared to many other autumn/winter collection. I think this is exactly what gloomy dark autum/winter season needs... Lots of colour and dramatic, fascinating shapes!

The models had inverted cellophane bouquet wraps on their heads, and gorgeous hairdos testing gravity..

The make up was geometric blocks across the models eyes in bright colours.

Basso & Brooke SS 2010

I've rarely looked for any fashion things online before, other than what I see on blogs.. But today I browsed londonfashionweek.co.uk and looked at the pictures of some collections. There's sooo many of them.. It would take forever to go through them all! And of course there's lots of other sites with inspiring pics too.. I just wanna see them all!

I love reading blogs where people post inspiring pictures of designer's collections, like Clare's blog. I thought that maybe I could start sharing some of my favourites what I find online too.. My blog isn't all about make up, even though it has lately looked like it was. Because my holiday started, I haven't had chance to sew so I've focused on experimenting with make up. Well, I could sew but I don't like my home sewing machine.. I'm so used to use the amazing sewing machine at school so my own one feels not good enough.

These are my favourites from Basso & Brooke spring / summer 2010 collection. I LOVE those colours, prints and shapes, I'd wear all of these designs anyday. If anyone of you happen to have some of these designs laying in your wardrobe useless, please get in touch and I'd be happy to buy them from you. hahah.

purple cut crease make up

I had thought about doing a post about my everyday make up look. Well, I think it's too late now. Everyday make up look - that doesn't exist to me anymore. At least not at the moment when I'm having my holidays. I've been experimenting a lot with make up lately, and my make up has been different each day.

Katjusha told me about the eyeshadow palettes you can buy on ebay. 88 or 120 eyeshadow colours.. And those palettes are so cheap! I really wish I could shop online.. But no, I don't have a credit card, I can't use paypal either. :/ So, I still have to stick to my Hello Kitty palette.

This look is what I wore when we went to see Eclipse.

Lovely Johanna passed on the award I gave her, and thanked me on her post. She called me "one of the best make up artists". WOW. I'm really flattered. Me, make up artist? I'm just a girl who has recently started exploring the wonderful world of make up, playing and experimenting a lot. Thanks Johanna, your sweet words mean a lot to me.

sunny summer make up

Johanna asked me to do a wearable summer look for the beach. Maybe this look would be wearable beach look? At least it's very summery. Hope you like it!

I also sent this look as an entry for HeidiB's summer contest. Even though this is such a simple look and I don't think I have any chance to win (I read some comments and there's some really talented girls entering too!) but well.. you always have to try. :)

This is the lipgloss which I won from Nelliina's giveaway long time ago. I haven't used it a lot, because it didn't look good with my red hair. But now I'm free to use it! Love the pink colour, and the shine..

Eclipse inspired make up

I went to see Eclipse today with my sister Janika. I was kind of excited, but on the other hand I didn't want to expect anything of it. Eclipse has always been my favourite out of the Twilight saga books, I was hoping that the movie wouldn't disappoint me too badly. (Love Janika's pink leggins!)

The movie was actually pretty good! The best out of the Twilight movies too.

There was few things I'd have done differently though:
-The part where they were in the tent and Jacob and Edward were talking, that should have lasted longer in the movie.. It's one of my favourite parts.
- Jacob & Bella's  kiss didn't last long enough in the movie!
- At the end I'd have wanted Bella to tell Jacob how she told him in the book too; that the worst part of it all was that Bella saw it all in her mind, her & Jacob's life, what could it be if she chose Jacob instead of Edward. -Also, Edward is soooo annoying when he doesn't let Bella meet Jacob in the book and I'd have wanted to see more of that in the movie too.

Otherwise the movie was great! Not perfect, but no movie based on book could ever be perfect.

Of course there's one little thing that I'd change of the end of the book too. I'd want Bella to choose Jacob instead of Edward. I can't understand how could she say no to this brown-eyed handsome hot guy and want to spend rest of her life with some ice cold annoying vampire with ugly sideburns and very thick eyebrows! Are you wondering if I'm "team Edward" or "team Jacob" ? lol!

So.. When we got home, I decided to create some kind of Eclipse inspired make up look. I'm not extremely happy with this look.. I did it in less than 10 minutes without even knowing what to do, I had no specific idea in my mind, I just started playing with the colours I chose.

Three things I love about myself:

1. I have a good attitude in life. And I like myself as I am, and (try) not to complain too much. I'm the one who I have to spend the rest of my life with, so why not to enjoy being me.

I chose this one of me & Arde (currently singer of The VooDoo Nights), it's taken at my first JWRA gig in 2007 and it reminds me of the whole year 2007 and brings all the good memories to my mind.. I really miss those times..

I'll be happily living in London, probably working at some clothing shop and earning some extra money by sewing clothes and also having an own online shop. Who knows, maybe I'll be a famous fashion designer (probably not though), and who knows, I might have a real own shop too.
Hopefully I'm not alone, I'm having lots of friend and a boy- or girlfriend too.

- I want to work in a clothes shop. In London. Also sew clothes and sell them in my own online shop. Two of my friends have already promised to create that online shop for me.. Siz and Nea. :D

- I don't use any fragnances but I like the smell of strawberries!

3. How do you take your coffee/tea?
- I don't drink coffee.. And I drink tea maybe once in a year. lol.

-Feel beautiful, and you look beatiful. Look how you want and don't care about others' opinions. Experiment with make up and different styles.

5. If you had an all-expenses paid vacation anywhere, where would you go?
- Travel all around the world! Or if it has to be only one place.. Well. I'd say London because I soooo want to go there again. But I'm going there anyway, and going to move there so.. If someone paid my vacation, maybe I should go somewhere else. Maybe somewhere in America.. I'd like to see Jeffree Star and Blood On The Dance Floor live! And America is so far and it's expensive to go there.. So I think I'd go to USA if someone paid for my vacation. Any volunteers??

- I hope my mum would go through her dentist appointment next week without feeling any pain!! And also that my mum would want to move to London with me someday. And the last wish would be that no more murders or anything else bad would happen in the world.

- Breakfast.. It's the most versatile.
