My silver tunic was far too small for me so I decided to try if it could be used for something else .. and I turned it into a miniskirt. Unfortunately I didn't realise to take a picture of the tunic, but it was similar to my other tunic which I have picture of.
Well.. I didn't draw patterns or anything, I just cutted the tunic into pieces and started to sew. Even though I used all the fabric I got from it, expect the sleeves, I couldn't make it any longer skirt.The satin - it's so difficult to sew!
Anyway.. I don't think I could ever actually be wearing this skirt..
Today I also took home from school the leopard hoodie I sewed there. It's much better made and more wearable than this skirt.. I'm going to show pictures later.

ReplyDeleteI used to cut holes into a old pair of thights which didn't fit me anymore.. now I can use it for my arms.. :D it looks great though it wasn't such hard work ^^ to cut some holes in it :P
Yeah :) You just need some imagination and you can create anything from anything. :DD

ReplyDeleteThat's true.. Wish it was that easy with tights too, you wouldn't have to ming if there's new holes.. XD Because every hole is too much.. WEll if they were somehow evenly nicely all over the tights, it would look good, at least if you had some different colour tights under them but.. No... :D

ReplyDeleteTights and leggins always get holes :( I try to avoid it as much as possible.. When I go home, I change my leggins which already has holes :D So I won't get holes to me holeless (XD) leggins at home.. Usually leggins and tights are not easy to fix, well yo ucan sew the hole but it doesn't look like it used to look..
ReplyDeleteluckily the whole isn't visible under my shoes ;D ^^ so glad that it isn't visible... when I wear my shoes =P it's a tiny hole so I will try to fix it ^^
ReplyDeleteThat's good :DD At first I usually get holes in invisible places.. Like so low that my legwarmers cover them, or so high that my skirt covers it... But fastly they're everywhere XD lol
ReplyDeleteyou could stop the whole from getting bigger or so on with nailpolish .. :D if you have that colourless nailpolish :D really easy ^.^ and it really helps ;D

ReplyDeleteyeah you could buy it :) I do have 3 colourless nail polishes .. haha xD... it really helps and stops it from getting worse :D and when you'Re out and it happens it'd be good to have that thing in the bag xD.. and then you can use it when you need it ^.^
